Inside Scoop: Behind the Scenes of Our Eight X Photoshoots

At Eight X, our photoshoots are about more than taking pictures. They are about capturing the details of our premium menswear and showing how each piece fits into the lifestyle of our customer. Every photoshoot begins with a close look at the collection. We study the new knits, classic button downs, handmade artisan shirts, and bold button ups to understand the colors, textures, and style direction. From there, we choose a location that complements the clothing and build mood boards to guide the look and feel of the shoot.

For our most recent photoshoot, we worked once again with photographer Andrew and model Alejandro, who also joined us for our April collection drop. Once the location was booked, our team prepared every piece in advance. Each knit, button down, and button up was steamed and hung, with backup outfit options on hand to make styling smooth and flexible. We also gathered props and any additional items to ensure the shoot went as planned.

Day of the Shoot
Our shoots run a full day from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. We start by reviewing our goals with the team, sharing mood boards, and setting the tone with music to create the right atmosphere. Throughout the day, we style outfits head to toe using Eight X clothing, moving from lightweight knits and breathable crochet shirts to structured button downs and handmade artisan embroidered shirts. In between styling, we capture behind-the-scenes photos and videos to give our community a look into the creative process.

Alejandro brought natural confidence to the shoot, helping us showcase the variety of styles from classic button ups to textured knit polos. His ability to connect with our vision reflects why it is so important for us to work with people who truly understand and enjoy our brand.

The most important part of every photoshoot is teamwork. Every member of the Eight X crew plays a role, and everyone is hands-on throughout the day. This collaborative energy allows us to highlight the bold statements and timeless basics that define Eight X premium menswear.
